It is said that life is too short to be lived counting the years. When working non-stop to attain a fruitful life seems like a good idea, sometimes it’s better to take a break from the chaos and self-reflect for a moment.

1. If you could only capture 3 images of your life, what would they be and why?

This question encourages us to recall specific moments our lives — not simply for the sake of listing 3, but for the purpose of looking forward while appreciating the present moment.

2. What defines your present? What defines your past?

Eventually, everything becomes history. Or does it?

3. If aliens exist, what impact would they have on humanity?

This is a creative question. There are so many different possibilities that could happen if they do exist. Perhaps war? Like in a video game? What impacts would they have?

4. If there is a simulation game where you can have anything you desire, would you ever abandon the reality of life?

We will have infinite lives in the game, all the money in the world, and we get to travel anywhere at anytime. If possible, should our current lives be wasted?

5. What is something you regret doing? How about something you regret not doing?

Do we regret more or less after taking action and doing something?

Sometimes jealousy steals an episode in our lives. We start to look into other people’s lifestyles and forget about our own. What exactly do we gain from doing so?

7. If we have 25 hours a day, how would you dedicate that extra hour to your current life? Would there be a difference?

We can pursue something special, or simply ignore it. It’s only an hour right?

8. Have you ever questioned about the validity of time? Has it ever been altered? Is there a possibility that humanity got stitched up by some other external forces or beings?

This may not be scientific, but at least we get some room to explore.

9. You can install a computer in your brain with no health impact, but nobody else can. Should you choose to do so, what advantages do you wish to possess?

We can ace every exam, remember anything, play any game, write unlimited articles… But the only downside is seeing other people at a disadvantage.

10. If you can time travel and access different points in your life, at which point, if any, would you like to linger in the most?

We do time travel all the time — at 1 second per second, forward. But having access to different moments is completely different.
