Some of us are lonely

Some of us want to be lonely

Some of us yearn for companionship, but our nature deprives us of it

We know we are destined to be lonely, and can never hold a relationship

Yet, some of us try

Doomed for failure on every attempt, yet we still try

They love you at first

They love what they see of you

They love how you look; adore your physique and they think you’re perfect

They don’t really know you, but they say they love everything about you

These words fill you with joy and you eventually start loving them too

You open up to them, reveal your scars, share who you really are, sad, broken, mentally torn apart

And you’re comfortable doing this because, you’ve finally found someone you can be true to and they to you

You’ve finally found someone, that’ll accept you for who you are and you to them

But after the veil has been lifted and you reveal your true colors and the facade is broken, suddenly they don’t love you anymore

They don’t remember how beautiful you once were

They don’t remember how much they adored your physique

They don’t remember all the eyes trained on you as you walk by, No.

Now they just see you as another broken, sad, mentally ill bipolar individual that’ll ruin their life if they stick around.

Yes, some of us were meant to be lonely.
